Celisia was great! She helped me with errands (store and grocery runs, donation drop offs), light cleaning around the house, de-cluttering, and folding/putting away laundry. She was on time, and pleasant to work with. My only concern is that after working a few days a week for almost 2 weeks, she messaged me the night before her next scheduled shift to let me know she would have to quit. She said she thought she would be able to balance her existing day job, graduate school, and her personal life but it was becoming unhealthy - which I totally understand. My issue is that she essentially gave me no advance notice. I received the text at 9:25pm and she was scheduled to return at 1:30pm the next day. When we did our in-person interview, I specifically asked if she would be able to handle the additional workload and going directly from one job to the next and she assured me she would be okay. Again, she is an amazing young lady who in a very short period of time, helped me tremendously! She just dropped the ball on the professionalism of giving me adequate notice. Even a 2-3 day notice would've been more helpful. I wish her the best in her endeavors and know that as she learns her personal limits and continues to grow, she'll understand when she is over extending and/or over committing and will be a great addition to someone's permanent team.
