About Celina

Dear Potential Employer, First off, I write this with some degree of sadness. I received a job offer in Santa Monica that we, as a family, could not refuse. Celina is on the top of the list of reasons why it is difficult to leave. I hope that this letter of recommendation will serve as a divining rod to help you make one of the best decisions for your child. Here are some of the things that my wife, Lynette, and I want to point out about Celina: Family - Tomorrow is the last day with Celina. The past few weeks have been very emotional and Celina truly loves our child. I see her eyes watering up as the days tick past. Over and over she has proven to love the children that she cares for as though they were her own at this moment I m tearing up a little. Ability - Celina is bilingual, tech savvy, intelligent and is a certified teacher in her home country. The children that Celina is in charge of are taught Spanish and Celina is able to come up with legitimate curriculum for them. We are so proud of our daughter s ability to speak Spanish so comfortably and we have Celina to thank for it. Versatility - As things come up with parents (as they often do) Celina has proven over and over again to be flexible with her time and location. There was even a time that we had an extra child that brought the total of her brood to 4 and she quickly called a friend and had coverage. Communication - Celina doesn't speak perfect English but there has never been a human that I've employed who has worked so well WITH me. She has taught me so much about parenting, love and communication that I can t even convey it to you. We pay her via a pay app, she texts us pics of our child having fun at children s museums, parks, libraries etc. In the end, Celina is much more than a nanny or a friend or even a family member she s an adviser and a teacher. I have always felt safe with Celina and my wife and I truly love her. If you are thinking of bringing Celina into your family please feel free to give me a call or shoot me an email. My wife is also more than happy to discuss this with you. As I close this out I m literally crying. As we move away I've not been this emotional about my friends that I m leaving or the house that we've raised our family in I realize that the most valuable relationship that we have had in our time here is with Celina. I cannot imagine someone being more qualified, able or loving than this woman. I could not give her higher accolades for what she does or who she is.
