I have worked with children and adults with mild to severe disabilities for 7 years. I have worked in a professional setting for 3 and I worked at a summer camp in 4 years of college where I cared for children and adults around the clock for 5 days at a time. I was responsible for all of their personal care. Now, I teach in a school setting where I work with my students on communication, social skills, behavior skills, and living skills in addition to the academic curriculum.
