About Celia

I've always been a caregiver, from my days in the hospital waiting room, distracting little ones with stories and games. I was motivated to become a childcare provider because I love children and believe in making a positive impact on their lives. With some experience, I'm comfortable caring for one child, ages 1 to 11. As a calm, creative, and friendly person, I enjoy playing board games and puzzles, educational games that promote learning, and playing outside with the children in my care. I communicate with parents about their child's day or any issues that arise using their preferred method of communication. When it comes to household rules, I follow the parents' lead. In addition to natively speaking English, I also know American Sign Language (ASL). I'm actually deaf and communicate best using my phone to pick of words that are said, or ASL. details about me are that I don't smoke and I'm comfortable with pets.
