Thank you for reviewing my profile! At a young age I witnessed my grandfather have both of his legs amputated due to the severity of his diabetes. My family didn't understand or follow alot of the medical care that came with diabetes and the conditions my grandpa had. This stuck with my into my adult years and when I moved away to college it was because of my grandpa that I chose to work part time as a caregiver. After 2 years of working with adult with developmental disabilities, I was promoted to be my managers assistant. Shortly after that I became the manager of a 6 resident, 10 staff facility. I trained caregivers to understand the severity of caring for another humans life. With me, when I care for your elder I will care for them as of they were my grandpa. I will do my best to understand their needs, you're needs and keep their goals as much afloat as I can.
