About Celeste

I've been a teacher of both elementary and middle school students, and now that I'm leaving the classroom, I'm looking to continue fostering a love of learning. I am creative at explaining techniques and approaches. I prefer working one on one with children, helping each child to better understand and love books. I would love to tutor or homeschool, and I'm influenced by Charlotte Mason. I prioritize open communication with parents and follow their preferred methods to provide regular updates about their child's day and address any concerns that may arise. I firmly believe in the importance of consistency and am very comfortable enforcing household rules to ensure a safe and structured environment for the children in my care. I delight in engaging children in a variety of games and activities that encourage learning and development, from board games and puzzles to educational games that spark their curiosity.
