'd describe myself as empathetic, nurturing, and patient. Another skill would be my ability to build good rapport with kids and parents or guardians. I'm looking for a job that I can help children with or without special needs to learn and grow in their education to their full potential. My preferred age would be toddler to elementary age students. I started caring for people with and without special needs when I was in high school. I have personal experience with children with and without special needs in my own life, so I'm very understanding. My current job consists of being a substitute teacher in regular education and special education classrooms. Even though I'm still in college, I am able to be a substitute teacher due to Act 86. I will be graduating May 2025. My current training and certifications consist of CPR, First aid, and AED. It's also important that your child(ren) get breaks from time to time, so I'm happy to do fun activities to give them a brain break.
