About Cecilia

Hi, I'm Cia! I've been working with children for over 10 years, since I was practically a kiddo myself. I started as a volunteer when I was 16 working with preschool/pre-k teens, before working as an assistant teacher for the same age group when I turned 18. After two years, I moved to Indiana, and became a toddler teacher, which I have been teaching for the last six years. I have also had the joy and opportunity to be a live-out nanny for several years. Joining families on outings, working alongside the parents while they're home, and doing several overnight jobs! I have experience with newborns, toddlers, preschool/pre-k, school age kiddos, twins, and children with learning disabilities. As a teacher/nanny, I am energetic and happy and always looking for fun ways to engage the kiddos. I love to sing, I encourage imaginative play, and love to make crafts/sensory bins, and I think it's important for kiddos to get dirty and messy and have exploring nature!
