I have a Master's degree in teaching from Central WA University and a Bachelor's degree in psychology from UW Tacoma. I am a certified special education teacher. My work with children is informed by the idea that children deserve to explore their own ideas and foster their independence safely so they can develop healthy emotional awareness and relationships. My approach focuses on social-emotional awareness and guidance that respects the child and their feelings while ensuring they learn boundaries. I love to ensure we have an active day with lots of playing outside or going on outings. I would love to get to know your family!
