About Cecelia

Bilingual. I have been working in childcare since 2010. I am First Aid/CPR certified. I worked at a daycare over summer 2010 and as I moved back to TX, I was hired to work in childcare and have been working in this occupation as of June 2012-present. I have worked with ages, infants all the way up to after school age which is whom I work with as of the moment. In the infant room, the ratio was typically 1:4 and for toddlers it was 1:9. In my infants class, there was not much to do, but tummy time. I liked to read all types of books to to the toddlers and if we are going outside, I would give them all specific job roles to make them feel as if they are accomplishing something. After school, I like to go over homework and make sure they come to a complete understanding of it all. All in all, I love all ages. I also enjoy helping out at churches with events and any after school programs as well. I am striving to become a child life specialist.
