About Catie

Hello! My name is Catie and I am 22 years old. I have always had a passion for children and I love being around their contagious energy. I started babysitting for two families in my neighborhood when I was 14 years old. Over the years I became very close to both families and it has been such a pleasure to watch them grow. Eventually I went off to Westfield State University where I followed my dreams of becoming an elementary education major. Over the course of my four years at WSU, I did a countless amount of hours and coursework in various different classrooms. During my school breaks, I worked part time at a local daycare, working with children as young as 6 months to as old as 14 years old. I have just recently received my Massachusetts license to teach grades 1-6 and I am hoping to have my own classroom in the near future. In the meantime, I am a building substitute at a local primary school. As a building substitute, I work with students in kindergarten through fourth grade.
