About Cathy

Childcare is my passion and my purpose. For over 20 years, I have worked in every aspect from infant care to center director. I taught Pre-K for 7 years and later homeschooled 3 of my 5 children. I believe the purpose of a nanny is to relieve the family of childcare stress while providing the child with the best possible caring, stimulating, and safe environment. In my spare time, I am an artist who enjoys painting, jewelry making, and crocheting. I love to cook, and also consider it an art. Arts and crafts, and teaching through cooking are two of my favorite things to do with children. Living on the lake, I enjoy kayaking, gardening, and nature walks with my pets. In my youth, I was a lifeguard and am still a strong swimmer.
