About Cathy

I have always had a special place in my heart for the elderly starting with my grandparents. I helped take care of my grandmother in my early 20s and she had dementia. I have worked in a nursing home, and in a hospital dealing with all types of patients. I have been a companion for an elderly gentleman who is at the early stages of Alzheimer's, but sadly, he is heading to a nursing facility. I am a mother of four and I have raised children for the past 14 years, but I miss hanging out with my elderly patients and getting to know the people who hold our past in their memories. I'd describe my personality as having patience, having a fun since of humor and trustworthy I like caring for seniors because I feel like you can learn from them. One thing you should know about me is they can trust me with their loved ones!!
