About Cathie

Hello! I was a licensed childcare provider for 13 years. During this time, I worked with children ages 6 weeks up to 10 years. My daycare was a play-based learning environment. With a rotating curriculum based on seasons or books, I built fun activities that taught science, art, math, gross & fine motor skills through play. Over the years, I have taken 10+ hours per year in childhood development classes, including CPR and first aid for infants, children and adults. In the last year, I have been a Registered Behavior Therapist working directly with autistic children. I helped children accomplish their individualized goals across specific developmental domains such as functional communication, behavior reduction, and self-help skills.
