I'm a playful, dedicated, and caring environmental educator who is looking for a new opportunity to support families in my community. I've spent the last 9 years working professionally with children and am passionate about fostering their confidence and curiosity through meaningful play and exploration. Currently, as the Education Specialist at Oxbow Farm & Conservation Center, I design outdoor lessons and activities for students. Before that I worked as a National Park Service Ranger throughout the western United States leading child-centered programs. In addition, I have worked in Montessori and Reggio Emilia-inspired preschools and child care centers, and have been a dedicated caretaker for children in my personal life. I prioritize nurturing a child's sense of wonder and curiosity, incorporating nature, play, music, art, and learning into daily adventures. Catherine is our favorite human on this planet. She has a sweet, calming ,and caring demeanor. She has been in our children's lives for over a decade- our kids consider her as one of their best friends (as in she is the greatest listener, cares what you think, wonderful and fair problem solver, and makes sure there is plenty of creative play and art time!)
