I'd describe my personality as imaginative, fun, and reliable. I like working with kids because I love their perspective on life: they are so assured of who they are and find things genuinely wonderful and awe-inspiring. Plus, most kids I've been around have a wicked sense of humor. I grew up with a family of 5 girls so working with kids reminds me of those happy days with my sisters. I started working with kids when I was 12 years old, but really when I was 5 when my mom had my youngest sister. I have worked in youth groups as a leader for middle schoolers, worked as a camp counselor for high school girls, and am a mentor for several high school girls currently. One thing you should know about me is I genuinely like being with your kids. My babysitting style is a combo of being friends with the kids, while also maintaining that adult presence where they know that they are safe and protected. My skills include electronic-free activities, cooking, and tutoring.
