I have nine years of babysitting experience, in that time one of my families I grew close to had a child with Epilepsy and Seizures. I began working with the child regularly, with letters, numbers, potty training, and more. I soon learned I absolutely loved working with children with mental disabilities. This knowledge helped me to decide I want to go to college and study Speech Pathology and Special Education. I have working experience with multiple children that suffer from different mental disorders. I have volunteered at other programs to benefit these children. I believe even if a child has a mental disorder they deserve to be treated the same and appreciated no matter what.
