We found Cathy a year and a half after my Aunt was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. My Aunt was beginning to show a tendency to wander and began disrupting our neighbors lives. My wife and I decided that we needed someone at home while we were at work as a social companion to my Aunt and to be there should anything go wrong. We could not have been more blessed to have Cathy come into our lives. For almost two years, Cathy worked with our dynamic schedules as my Aunt's needs became more apparent and required more time onsite, and more skill to handle. Cathy was thoughtful, dependable, and exceptionally punctual. She helped my Aunt get dressed, monitored medications, assisted in bathing, ate meals with my Aunt, on good days - went shopping and to church, cared for my Aunt's dog like he was her own, and so much more. The best way I can describe it is that Cathy became a part of our family. Namely, she became my Aunt's best friend. Cathy provided a level of confidence in our Aunt's care that I would normally have only assumed a skilled family member could provide. I truly believe that we could have hired a hundred different caretakers and not had a fraction of the skill, dedication, or love we received from Cathy with our time spent together. Catherine is one in a million, and I would recommend her to anyone.
