I've babysat for my three younger cousins and my little brother all my life. This means I have experience caring for kids between the ages of 5 months and 15 years old. I'm popular with my younger family members because I take an active interest in their lives by talking to them about their interests and hobbies. The kinds of activities I typically do with younger kids include reading, drawing and coloring, playing with toys or games, puzzles, etc. With older kids, things tend to be more relaxed so activities might include card or board games, watching movies, or playing a sport outside. With that being said, I'm perfectly comfortable just being a watchful eye if your family is not as interested in that level of engagement. I'm happy to assist with rides to and from school, homework, and cleaning around the house. I can cook and prepare a few basic meals and snacks as well.
