My name is Cate and for the past 5 years I have worked in daycare. I love working with children and have my CDA (Child Development Associate's). The only thing I would have to say that is not beneficial about working in a daycare center is I miss making those one on one connections with children. The socialization factor and the abundance of toys to help develop motor skills is great in daycares but the nurturing experience is sometimes lost in a daycare. I like to make a difference and keep working with children to see the impact you have on their development. I am CPR and first aid trained and have references if needed.
