About Catherine

I have been taking care of children since I can remember. I grew up in a large family, which means I grew up babysitting siblings and cousins. As I grew older I worked with children in school on my free periods and after school programs. When I went to college I did an internship in Philadelphia working with inner city children at a summer school program. The children ranged from 5 years old to 14 and they all had different types of needs. Some were needed help with their homework and others needed help due to special needs. After college I taught children's church at my local church for many years. Now I am a step mom of an amazing 7-year-old boy! You are trusting me with the most important thing in your life and I take that very seriously. I respect the parents and what their views and rules are. Communication is key with everything. I believe in creating clear communication with the parents and the children. I look forward to meeting you!
