About Catherine

I'd describe my personality as calm, caring and kind. I like caring for seniors because, I care about all people and understand the different seasons of life. I know that it can be challenging for them and their families to navigate this process in their lives. I have personally have lived experience with my own family. I endeavor to give those in my service, as much autonomy as possible; to help them to enjoy life. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and not too physically challenging. I am also flexible with my schedule. I started caring for seniors when l helped care for my mother after she had a stroke in 2017, and she was bedridden for five years. I have also helped people with light housekeeping meals and respite care. In my spare time, I like to garden, take care of my pets, cooking, walks on the beach with friends and listening to audio books while I'm doing chores. My skills include pleasant companionship, first aid trained, supportive care and assistance.
