About Cate

Hi! I am an early childhood educator with over 10 years of experience working with children from toddlers to early elementary school age. I am a certified teacher for grades PreK-2, and hold a graduate degree in Early Care & Education. Your children will benefit from my knowledge of best practices, as well as my kind, patient, and warm demeanor. I am a PreK teacher (4- & 5-year-olds) full time and am seeking tutoring opportunities after school. I believe that play is important to learning, so as your child's tutor I would bring fun (and a dash of silliness) to learning important concepts and strengthening skills. I am particularly skilled in preparing preschoolers for Kindergarten, as well as providing kindergarteners and 1st graders with extra help.
