About Cate

I am currently a Pre-K teacher at a Catholic school. It is the best job in the world! Previous to this position, I have worked in a daycare with 2-3-year-olds and have been a camp counselor and lifeguard at summer camp for three years with ages 4-10. I have cared for children as young as two and up to 10! In most of my babysitting/nanny jobs, I have gotten the children ready for school, getting dressed and eating breakfast as well as picking children up from school, doing homework, eating dinner and getting ready for bed. I love reading! I have a growing library of books of my own and I always bring a few with me whenever I care for children. I believe it is so necessary to teach children how important reading is! Also, playtime is the best. Whether it is going outside to the park or on a bike ride or just playing legos or crafts inside, I love it all! As a teacher, I have endless ideas for activities and play.
