I am an aspiring educator currently pursuing a teaching credential and masters to teach elementary school. Throughout my work in childcare, I have worked with all ages of children, including neurodivergent students ages 4-14. I have worked as a paraeducator for an Autism program at a middle school, where I helped autistic students ages 11-14 integrate into general education classes. I have also aided TK/Kinder neurodivergent students in the classroom and implemented specialized accommodations to help them succeed. With neurodivergent children (Autism & ADHD/ADD), I focus on learning and providing individualized accommodations to meet their specific needs. I prioritize listening to them and making them feel safe and respected. I also work to learn their interests to engage with them on topics they care about. Beyond childcare, I am happy to do light cooking, cleaning, tidying, driving, and any homework help that is needed.
