About Catalina

I'm a certified teacher with two years of experience as a caregiver. I decided to become a caregiver because of my passion for caring for children and helping them learn and grow. I'm patient, calm, creative, imaginative, friendly, and approachable. I enjoy playing outdoor sports and physical games, board games and puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. When communicating with parents, I follow their preferred communication method, whether it's verbal communication at pickup or through their preferred digital means. I'm somewhat comfortable enforcing household rules and try to do so in a positive and understanding manner. I have a college degree and am certified in Early Childhood Education (ECE). I'm comfortable caring for up to two children at a time and have experience working with children of all ages, from infants to preteens. I'm also comfortable with pets and have a car. I'm willing to help with light housekeeping.
