About Cassidy

Hi! I'm Cassidy, a 1st grade teacher in the Bridgeport neighborhood. Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a nanny and after-school babysitter for several families. I helped with school pick-ups, made snacks and simple dinners, packed lunches for the next day, and spent lots of time playing, reading, and doing activities with the kids. I started babysitting when I was 15 and have loved working with children ever since! Before teaching, I spent 10 years with the Chicago Park District, teaching early childhood classes and helping run youth programs. I truly enjoy spending time with kids, helping with routines, and creating a fun, safe, and positive environment after school.
