I hold a Bachelors in Behavioral Science and am working towards a Masters in Special Education (birth- 6th grade). I have worked with individuals with special needs for 10+ years. Starting off as a volunteer with my local Pioneer Basketball team. Then worked as a teaching assistant/ 1:1 throughout my undergraduate. Most recently, I have taught two self-contained settings. I have a strong understanding of ASL and have used it within my teaching to support the use of all communication. I am familiar and comfortable with AAC devices. I have a strong background using ABA style of teaching and I am Crisis Prevention Intervention trained. Each opportunity has given me insight on how to work, help, and teach independence to individuals with special needs. I truly enjoy working with this population and I'm looking forward to helping each and every person I work with grow to be their best self. Feel free to contact me with any questions!
