About Cassidy

Hi! My name is Cassidy , and I'm a history teacher at Dover-Sherborn High School in Dover, MA, ranked the #1 high school in Massachusetts by Boston. com in 2024. I hold a bachelor's degree in Social Studies Education and a master's degree in Special Education, both from Boston University. In my classes, I focus on thesis-based writing, DBQ essays, critical thinking, and student agency. I bring a warm, fun energy to learning, creating a safe and supportive environment. I hold high expectations for my students, preparing them to thrive in a changing world. I love tutoring because focused, personalized time with students helps them build confidence and writing skills that set them apart. I'm looking for opportunities to work with motivated students who want to excel in evidence-based writing as they prepare for high school, college, and beyond. Fun fact: I've also been a theatre camp counselor and even started a camp in Newton, MA! Learning should be inspiring and enjoyable.
