Hi! I recently graduated from Keene State College with a degree in theatre and psychology. It has been a dream and passion of mine to incorporate these two disciplines in working with children with special needs. I have years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with severe behavioral and cognitive disabilities. I have worked at the Brattleboro Retreat in VT and Pembroke Psychiatric Hospital in MA on the children and adolescent units, as well as the adult units. There I received training in de-escalation and crisis intervention. I ran theatre and music classes under the supervision of the music teacher at Cardinal Cushing Center in Hanover, MA. I worked at the MOCO arts center in Keene NH, and provided 1:1 support for a student with behavioral disabilities, as well as provided assistance with running theatre groups. I am extremely passionate about working in the mental health field, and want to share my knowledge and passion to help as many individuals as I can!
