About Cassandra

Hello! My name is Cassandra, but I am known to my students as "Miss Cassie". I have 17 years of classroom experience in Early Childhood Education. I am a musician and music teacher, have run music programs for 4 years as well as teaching private lessons in overall music education with a specialization in piano and voice. I have extensive knowledge of Herbalism and Biology. I write children's books and songs and am on the precipice of publishing my first book! I am hoping to find a family that is interested in establishing a homeschooling curriculum and, as a homeschool-graduate myself, am passionate about alternative Ed. I have worked in Waldorf, Montessori and Mainstream educational settings with both neuro-typical and neuro-divergent youth. Additionally, I have extensive knowledge of various pedagogical philosophies and practices. I am willing to travel and do overnights. Looking for the right fit!
