About Cassandra

I believe in the transformative power of education. I understand that intellectual rigor and critical thinking are vital for achieving a deep understanding of complex concepts. In my lessons, I endeavor to create a dynamic and engaging environment, placing significant emphasis on cultivating confidence in intellectual growth. I'd describe my personality as creative, dedicated, and fun. I like tutoring because it allows me to reach students at their current needs and skills. I'm looking for a job that allows me to help students outside of my classroom. I started tutoring when I was asked if I knew of any tutors outside of school. In my spare time, I like to create art, run, hike and do yoga. One thing you should know about me is I care about my students like they are my own children. They should feel safe and cared for in order to learn. I strive to create that for any student I teach. My skills include reading instruction and math computational skills.
