About Cassandra

Hi! I am a learning behavior specialist at a special education school. My students have a range of special qualities and differing unique needs. This is my first year as a teacher! I love my job and the enriching experiences we create together daily. I am looking to partner with a family to help meet their child's needs! I have worked with kids since quite a young age. I started as a mother's helper at the age of 12, with three children in the home. Since then, I have consistently babysat for many families with 1-3 children with the kids ranging from 0-12 years old. I have worked for the Buffalo Grove Park District for the last 4 years, with their after care program, as well as being a day camp counselor and working for Camp Connections. I love doing crafts, reading stories, and engaging kids in any games that encourage them to learn, grow, and express themselves.
