About Cassandra

I took care of my parents for 5 years. My dad had cancer but passed away from organ complications in Oct. 2022. My mom had dementia and suffered with low blood pressure. She passed away earlier this year in Jan. It was a lot being the primary caregiver, but God gave me the strength. I took them to doctor appts and managed their medications, as well as cooked, and assisted my mom with hygiene care. I received my CPR certification during this time period. I also helped take care of an aunt who suffered from multiple strokes. I assisted with her care at different facilities, attended doctor appts, and helped her with physical therapy exercises. It was a lot of work, but it was also rewarding.
