I have worked with kids for nearly 25 years. As a teenager, I was a babysitter, Rolling Readers volunteer, and tutor. During and immediately after college I worked as a K-8 substitute teacher, Birth to Three volunteer, and FT nanny. For the last 15 years, I have been a nanny, GED tutor, and homeschooling parent and, since 2021, I have been focusing mainly on dyslexia intervention using Orton Gillingham methodology. Sessions are usually 50 minutes 2-3 times per week, tailored to your student, and can be done remotely via Zoom or in your home (there is an upcharge for in-person sessions to cover my travel expenses and time).
