About Casey

I am a mother of 3. I stayed home to raise all of my children, and with my last child nearing 16, I am missing having small children to nurture. I am a very nurturing person by nature, and I love being around children -and children typically love me. I think one of the most important things to working with a child is the need to speak to them on their level, to let them be playful, and to allow them to express their emotions. I spent time substituting at The Christian School at Castle Hills, which is a private Christian school, where I was able to interact with all ages of children, mostly substituting in Art. Watching children express themselves creatively is an absolute joy! I am attentive and have the flexibility to adapt to the child's needs as we go. I'd describe my personality as nurturing, attentive, joyful I like working with kids because they are pure and uncomplicated. They are little balls of energy, full of love. Children are an absolute blessing.
