About Casey

One of my key accomplishments was tailoring lesson plans to meet the unique needs of each student, especially those with disabilities. I developed strategies that accommodated different learning styles, which allowed my students to feel more confident in their abilities. For students with disabilities, the progress was often less measurable in traditional ways but was equally important in terms of their confidence and ability to overcome challenges. For students who faced academic challenges or personal struggles, one of my proudest achievements was helping them build their self-esteem. I was able to create an environment where students felt comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and being themselves. This was especially crucial for students with disabilities, as they often faced stigma or self-doubt.
