About Casey

Hi there! I'm a former elementary school teacher with nearly 2 decades of experience caring for children of all ages. My husband, our dog, and I recently relocated to San Diego after living in Barcelona for a year and a half. Before that, Colorado was home, where I taught elementary PE for four years. I also worked in a Montessori preschool, focusing on 2-year-olds but with experience in all age groups (newborn-5yo). My experience spans 12+ years as I've held various roles, from structured care in classrooms to recreational care as a summer camp director. In 2024, I left Barcelona for a bit to nanny in Oakland for a 6-month position, and worked with multiple families as an occasional sitter. In 2017, I nannied full-time for three families. I am CPR certified and understand that each family has unique needs, which I'm happy to accommodate. While I don't plan to teach in California, I'm eager to return to nannying and babysitting.
