Hello! I am a fun-loving wife and seasoned home-schooling mother (over 20 years) of three grown children. I have been blessed to nurture and invest in the lives of my own children and hope to do so with future children who may come into my life. There is so much value and potential in human life and I love to see a child's sense of wonder, and I hope to continue teaching and 'growing' children in some capacity, great or small. I have tutored and nannied for the past 3 years. Previous activities include: Proficient in American Sign Language, Heard Wildlife Museum volunteer, home-school art history and art teacher, and hobby beekeeper. I love reading beautiful literature to children, outdoor nature walks, beautiful art, and gardening. Animals are not a problem: I have a dog and several cats. We hired Caryl to tutor our daughter for the school year--it turned into almost four. She did a phenomenal job and the first year she tutored our daughter's teacher said she improved academically over the year more than any child she'd ever had. Caryl was not only a tutor, but she became a true member of our family. We only stopped tutoring because it was time for our daughter to "fly on her own." Caryl still takes our daughter to lunch or for ice cream here and there. They also text for holidays etc. We highly recommend her. She trustworthy, reliable and truly cares about education and loves kids. I could go on and on--can't say enough good things about Caryl. She's a real find--better grab her while she's still avail.
