I'm a retired nurse who still loves caring for people. I have worked in many long term care facilities and rehabilitation centers for 15 to 20years on and off. When I wasn't working as a nurse, I was working full time at home raising my little family. Now that I'm an empty nester, I'm really enjoying being a caregiver and finding joy in serving again. My mom passed away last year and as I watched the nurses and aides coming and going, I remembered how rewarding caregiving can be. I found myself wanting to work and do more as a caregiver.
