I began baby-sitting while I was in middle school and have continued to baby-sit for children of all ages and with different needs. I have a little sister who is eight years younger than me, so I have had many opportunities to care for a young child even in my own home. I have baby-sat for many of the families in my neighborhood, and they recommended me to other families. 4 years ago I was an after school nanny for a family with 4 children and after that I have continued to nanny for families during the summer. I was also a special Ed associate for a year and am now saving up for nursing school to go into postpartum. The amount of children I watched varied depending upon the family's need. I have baby-sat for twin babies, for a child with limited mobility, and a child with hearing issues. I enjoy being around children and I have great empathy and compassion. I would love to get the chance to help out a new family and continue to keep everyone safe during covid.
