About Carrie

Warm, friendly, middle-aged mama of 3 teenagers with over 25 years of experience in child care. I tutored/homeschooled my own children for various lengths of time (according to their needs and preference), the longest being Pre-K through 7th grade. All were able to transition successfully to public school and excel in honors and gifted classes. I am a certified special education teacher with an MAT and 3. 5 years experience in self-contained ASD. I am now retired from the classroom and still wanting to care for/ work with/ teach children but in a less strenuous setting. I have assisted in homeschooling other family's children long-term (including special needs) and am open to partnering with additional families for home education, tutoring, and childcare / infant care. I am also open to senior care though I have far less experience in that area.
