My love and devotion to animals has been a pivotal part of my existence for as long as I can remember but became especially rich after my first rescue nearly 15 years ago. I've transported for shelters (freedom rides) and cared for many sick or injured animals big and small. I've cared for dogs following major surgery (rehab and underwater treadmill) as well as minor surgeries such as cataract surgery. I've administered eye drops, oral meds, shots, sq fluids, etc to both dogs and cats. I've also tube fed and successfully hand raised newborn kittens. I've pilled cats and am very well versed at flushing ears (dogs and cats) and trimming nails (cats).
