I am currently a licensed special education teacher with a concentration working with students with severe disabilities. I will also be receiving my master's degree in special education in May. I am licensed to teach children ages 3-22. I have also worked as a personal care attendant for a young lady with multiple disabilities, including Autism and Epilepsy, since 2015. I have experience working with children and adults with a wide variety of disabilities including: Down syndrome, Autism, intellectual impairments, social/emotional/behavioral disorders, PVNH, cerebral palsy, seizure disorders, developmental delays and disorders and many others. I am certified in CPR, First Aid, am trained to respond with seizures, can lift and transfer from wheelchairs, can assist with bathing, toileting, dressing and feeding, have training in applied behavior analysis, and have previously been trained in crisis intervention training including CPI, Safety Care and CALM training.
