I began my nanny career in 1984 during my gap from high school to collage, I was encouraged to join a nanny training collage, Agency who ran a training program for nannies. I learn a lot about basic pediatric health as well as First Aid along with the emotional health of babies and young children. As part off my work experience with the program I lived with a family who taught me how to work as a professional person and live in their and respect them as a family. With my last two families I have been working in Piedmont California for 15 years, for seven years I was able to utilized my skills as a Montessori teacher with two twin girls especially with math and reading and art and music. I have three years of experience puppy training and dog working. menu planning and grocery shopping and cooking. I am now living in Woodstock Vermont and can start work from August 10th.

Carolyn cared for our daughter from the time she was four months old to nineteen months; from January 2023 to April 2024. Carolyn brought her gentle, joyful, attentive and observant approach to every moment of our daughter’s days. Carolyn used her background in Montessori education to nurture our daughter’s interests and skills and Carolyn let our daughter’s cues guide their daily rhythms. With Carolyn, our daughter’s days were filled with songs and games in French and English, outdoor walks and exploration (no matter the weather), trips to the library, and most importantly, patience, love and laughter. We parted ways as planned when a spot opened up at our first-choice daycare. We know our daughter will miss Carolyn very much!
