I currently work as a Special Education Teaching Assistant in a k-2 classroom Before working in a school I worked at an ABA clinic and obtained my BCAT as well as my Paraprofessional certification I have worked with children on the spectrum since I was a teenager. I have also worked with children since I was a teenager providing care, transportation & supervision I swam on the swim team from ages 7-18 as well as taught swim lessons privately I have provided pet sitting outside of babysitting for families too I strive to create a fun but safe, structured environment for all kids of all ages and abilities I enjoy cooking, gardening, playing outside, arts & crafts, singing/dancing Can provide references upon request Please let me know if you have any questions! She is comfortable providing care for children & teens with intellectual disabilities, & communication disorders. Carrie assists her special needs peers in adaptive PE program at the local high school. My son has been fortunate enough to know her as a daycare provider, school helper, and neighbor throughout the years. She is a patient, kind, and caring individual.
