I am an occupational therapist with over 10 years experience working with children with special needs. I was inspired to come into this field by my cousin who is my age and diagnosed with autism. I have a lot of patience for humans and this patience was developed through early exposure to developmental differences and an empathetic passion to lend a hand. I ignited this passion in middle school when I began volunteering at summer camps for children with disabilities. I went on to become a preschool teacher and vocational facilitator while studying to achieve a masters degree in occupational therapy. As an OT, I have worked in early intervention, home care, schools, and outpatient clinics. I strive to bring my education, empathy and innovation to each family I serve.
