Hi everyone! As a childcare provider with seven years of experience, I'm passionate about making a positive impact on children and supporting families. I've cared for children of various ages, including neurodivergent children, making me comfortable with all types of families. I nannied throughout college at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where I majored in psychology and minored in child development and ethnic studies. I strive to create a nurturing environment that mirrors the child's typical surroundings. Part of my journey took me to Paris, France, where I worked as an au pair, caring for children and teaching them English. I'm fluent in English and conversational in French. With First Aid/CPR training and a creative, patient approach, I enjoy engaging children in outdoor sports, board games, and puzzles. Carolyn was an incredible babysitter for our family, and we couldn't have asked for more. She was engaging with our children and always ensured they were fulfilled and blissfully tired by the end of the day. Carolyn consistently communicated well, followed through on our routines, and even tidied up after the kids, which was such a relief. She is not one of those sitter who leaves your house in a tornado. She is very capable and had the capacity manage our very active 5-year-old son and keep our 3-year-old daughter content. As we awaited the arrival of our third baby, Carolyn was on call for us, since we had no family nearby. When my husband brought me and the baby home from the hospital, she was there to watch our two older kids and managed to get them to sleep despite their excitement. We trusted her completely with our children, and we miss her dearly now that she has finished school.
