About Carol

My journey began when I was 14 and my mom had a stroke. After a lengthy stay at the hospital she came home unable to walk and needed help eating, dressing, bathing and much more. It was than I took over as her caregiver. It came naturally to me and after a year she fully recovered and I had grown and matured in ways unimaginable. A few years later I decided to continue care giving as a CNA in a nursing home which lead to a promotion of being the Coordinator of the Alzheimer's unit. Next I worked in hospice which lead me to work with Mother Theresa in Washing DC. When I went to college I worked at Bancroft School. It was there I endured 6 years of constant hard core training in writing and implementing behavior programs for special needs children. I taught autistic, down syndrome, seizure disorders, ADD and developmental disabilities just to name a few. There is much more to tell but this give you a picture of my experience. I love care-giving. I believe it's written in my DNA
