About Carol

I'd describe my personality as personable, focused, and creative I like tutoring because I feel like all children deserve a good education. Getting a good start in the early grades will bring success later. I'm looking for a job that enables me to help students outside of the school day and during the summer to improve their skills and get them to grade level work I started tutoring at Fox Hill Elementary in 2019. I worked in a first grade classroom tutoring in reading, spelling and math. Now I am at school all day working in K-2 classrooms In my spare time, I like to cheer for Purdue football and basketball. One thing you should know about me is I want your child to succeed. I will work very hard to create a plan to make that happen. My skills include reading, including prep for reading, phonemic awareness, building vocabulary, reading for comprehension. I also can tutor students learning basic math skill in Kdg and math through 2nd grade
